- Identify tasks with zero slack. Only tasks with zero slack are a part of the critical path, as they don’t have any buffer for delays. Slack is the difference between the earliest and latest start (or earliest and latest finish)
- Now highlight all tasks with zero slack on the network diagram to arrive at the Critical Path (highlighted in red)
