If I had to choose, I would say that my favorite ClickUp feature is automation!
A few months ago, I developed a client onboarding automation system for my business, and it’s probably one of my favorite systems because of how easy and helpful it is! My clients love it, too!
Automating my onboarding client process has been a game-changer to start taking more clients, enjoying the process more than repeating manual and nonsense tasks.
Think of automation like a car’s cruise control feature. When you set your workflow automation, you won’t need to exert extra energy. You’d be cruising through mundane and repetitive tasks without thinking about it.

I’m willing to automate pretty much everything!
I use integrations when auto-populating a client’s folder into ClickUp when a client signs a contract on Dubsado.
I would create a project mapped into Dubsado, connect Dubsado and ClickUp in Zapier, then create a filter with the project mapped field. And that’s it. All the new client folders are automatically created in ClickUp.
