Hi, my name is Odette Toppin. 👋 I’m a Business Efficiency Consultant and Owner of Systems Tactics, LLC!
As a Certified OBM with over 12 years of operational management experience. My expertise lies in Systems Setup, Training, and overall Operational Efficiency. ⚡️
I work with my clients to develop and implement process improvement strategies, perfect their fundamental processes, and ensure that their team is trained.
I enjoy being the behind-the-scenes expert you and your business need, developing a vested interest in your long-term success. Let’s define business operations resiliency together, one system at a time!

Tell us: How did you hear about ClickUp?
I honestly don’t remember how I heard about ClickUp but boyyyy when I found it in 2018 I thought I had died and gone to organized heaven!
I was using Trello at the time and was just over the nickel-and-diming for every power-up I needed to help me work smarter. I had tried three or four other work tools including Teamwork and Asana, but none ‘clicked’ (haha get it?) for me the way ClickUp did. 😉
My brain was one with ClickUp from our first meeting and I haven’t looked back or cheated on ClickUp not once.
It was a natural fit that I would apply to become a Vetted Consultant to help other users get cozy with ClickUp.
What’s your favorite ClickUp feature?
I promise you that I cannot live without the ‘create a task or attach to a task from an email’ feature! 📧
Maximizing this feature with Gmail labels and filters combined with Zapier legitimately keeps my inbox under 20 messages at all times.
Once the task is created in ClickUp, I use simple automation to assign, set a due date, and sometimes add Tags or edit Custom Fields. Then the goodness continues with an email from ClickUp to reply to those messages. Whattttt!🤯
How has ClickUp improved your business & personal life?
Professionally, I’ve been able to significantly grow my business because of ClickUp.
Being a Vetted Consultant has opened the door to meet so many other business owners seeking to track, organize, and streamline. In the last 18 months, I’ve helped over 20 clients learn ClickUp and organize their businesses more efficiently.
It’s been oh-so-smooth to track my own rebranding project inside ClickUp. Keeping notes and docs for ALL the things that must be done to change a business name would have been a nightmare on paper and ridiculously clunky in Trello because I would have needed so many power-ups.
Personally, because I am addicted to being organized, it’s easy to help other family members manage their personal affairs with the guest feature. We just moved from New Jersey to Florida and I managed the entire process in ClickUp. NOT. ONE. SINGLE. THING. fell through the cracks. 🙌
Don’t get me wrong, there was a LOT happening to sell, buy, and move BUT keeping track of everything to be done was really fun because I got to create custom fields, use Board view and Table view for the budget.
Because I was so busy during that period, I didn’t even realize how cool that part was until I typed these words! Seriously, thanks ClickUp!
