How ClickUp Improved Project Delivery and Communications at a Healthcare Workforce Nonprofit

Futuro Health provides allied health education and skills training to help address the critical demand for new healthcare workers in California. Its new education-to-work model offers career exploration and coaching, education financing, and helps determine the best pathway toward a healthcare credential or license. Futuro then supports new trainees to transition into high-demand allied healthcare jobs while providing businesses with a high-quality workforce. While currently operating only in California, Futuro plans to scale its efforts nationwide, and needs scalable technology solutions to match.

332% Growth in Race Attendance Post-Covid Using ClickUp

Like many races, the organization had to shut down the race for the first couple of years of the pandemic, but the race represented the largest single source of funds for PHPG each year. That’s where Tuck was able to step in to help roll out ClickUp and project manage the entire effort to bring the race back. Tuck created a template that can be reused every year with the key activities, and it manages all of the volunteers to hold the event for each nine month cycle.

Simplifying Communications for a Global Nonprofit with ClickUp

Oil Change International needed to streamline research workflows while preserving team autonomy across global projects. They required flexible processes alongside better leadership visibility—without adding staff burden. Using ClickUp, OCI implemented automations, custom templates, and Google Workspace integrations to create standardized yet adaptable project frameworks from kickoff to publication. Teams can easily launch projects, collaborate in familiar tools like Google Docs, and leverage ClickUp features such as task linking, notifications, and AI summaries. The Communications team manages its own workflows independently while maintaining real-time visibility for others. Automating Nonprofit Operations with ClickUp in Less than Four Months

Grant management is far more than writing compelling proposals – awardees must comply with reporting and oversight requirements. When awardees have multiple funding sources, they usually have multiple reporting regimes. The Partnership Project exists so that clients (‘Programs’ in Partnership Project terminology) can devote more resources to their mission and fewer resources to grant management. The Partnership Project needed a single tool to streamline and automate a series of complex and interconnected workstreams that support this mission. When Tuck got involved, they were managing $22M worth of grants though a complicated and highly manual process that relied upon multiple desktop productivity applications. Now, all of those grants are managed through automated ClickUp processes.

Merchant, McIntyre, and Associates partnered with us to modernize their grant and client management through a ClickUp Quick Start onboarding. The goal was to replace fragmented, spreadsheet-based systems with a centralized, unified database—improving visibility, simplifying access to historical data, reducing redundancy through automation, and making technical tools more accessible for all team members. Previously, each client team operated in isolation, relying on manually built spreadsheets. This led to limited awareness across teams, duplicated efforts, and inefficient workflows. Setting up each new client or grant required hours of manual work, slowing productivity and increasing costs. As Minnesota’s top solar installer, Apadana faced mounting challenges in managing its expanding portfolio of projects. Despite having well-documented processes, these were maintained in static Word documents and communicated via email, leading to fragmented workflows and a lack of real-time visibility. There was no centralized system to aggregate project types or monitor the status of key deliverables, such as signed client letters or proposal approvals.
