When I joined ClickUp: February 2021
Why did you join ClickUp?
I was excited about the idea of getting into tech and SaaS, but my interviewers and the positivity that I encountered during the interview process really sold me on ClickUp. It was an easy decision.
What do you do at ClickUp?
I answer emails for anyone on the Enterprise or Business Plus plan. I also have dedicated accounts through Premium Support and optimization services offerings.
Tell us what a typical day looks like for you.
My day-to-day involves answering emails from customers, which can be as simple as “What is a List?” all the way up to “My SSO won’t let me log in.” And with my dedicated accounts, I’ll do meetings over Zoom and we go over any questions they have about the platform or figure out how they can make processes more optimized or efficient. It always varies.
How would you describe the culture at ClickUp? What makes it different from other jobs you’ve had?
ClickUp is very collaborative in the sense that everyone is working together toward the end goal, which is to help our users and create a product that goes above the rest. I also really like that there’s a lot of ownership. Everyone feels like they own something and that they can be direct and go direct. We’re constantly listening out for good ideas from everyone!
What do you like best about your job?
Every day is different. In a Support role, we’re asking questions that are pushing the boundaries of the platform and we need to think of ways to meet customers’ needs as soon as possible. I like that it forces me to creatively problem-solve.
What’s your favorite thing about your team?
In Support, everyone is fun to work with and the atmosphere is positive. There’s a lot of camaraderie. We’re in it together!
What qualities do you think a successful ClickUp employee embodies?
You have to be a go-getter. Be curious, because you want to think outside the box. And it’s important to have a growth mindset or be able to face a problem and find a way to work around it.
