Why did you join ClickUp?
I built Microsoft Teams and was looking for my next challenge. ClickUp found me, and after meeting the team, I thought, “I’ve found my next rocket ship.” 🚀
What do you do at ClickUp?
I do a lot of relationship management and problem-solving — basically, making sure that everything runs well. With engineering, the front end is the client and the back end is the services we run. I’m basically responsible for the front end and the people who work on that.
Tell us what a typical day looks like for you.
Because we have a lot of people across the world, I wake up early. After coffee and a workout, my day starts around 7 am, when I meet with the Poland team or Crew members in Ukraine. After that, I transition to meeting with the team in the U.S.
How would you describe the culture at ClickUp? What makes it different from other jobs you’ve had?
Fun, energetic, and crazy — in a good way. I say that with a big grin on my face. That’s what makes it interesting. Our core value, “Normal f*cking sucks,” is why I’m here. Everyone is driving and moving towards a goal, and we’re always looking forward.
What do you like best about your job?
Working with really smart, fun, and interesting people.
What’s your favorite thing about the engineering team?
You never want to feel like the smartest person in the room, and here, I never do. I’m constantly feeling like I’m bypassed by others. And I love our culture of wanting to solve things. That problem-solving mentality is something that exists throughout all of ClickUp.
What qualities do you think a successful ClickUp employee embodies?
Flexible and curious. Being curious and always looking ahead to the next thing is something that ClickUp employees embody. When it comes to the work itself, we’re empowered to be owners and continually innovate.
