Sales Compensation, Senior Analyst

ClickUp is looking for a highly motivated Sales Compensation, Senior Analyst with strong attention to detail to join our Revenue Operations team.  You will have the opportunity to collaborate with sales, customer success, and professional services teams and leadership to drive compensation strategy and ensure the success of each organization and company-wide goals.
The Role:
  • - Assist in developing compensation best practices for sales, success, professional services, and solutions engineering.
  • - Assist in ensuring that compensation plans at ClickUp are well-benchmarked against industry standards and are competitive within the market.
  • - Partner closely with business stakeholders across various departments to align compensation strategy to company-wide goals and desired outcomes.
  • - Perform all commission related operations and calculations for sales, client success, and professional services.
  • - Assist with implementing and administering sales compensation software.
  • - Collaborate with payroll team for accurate and timely commissions payouts.
  • - Deliver compensation and commission plans to sales organization regularly.
  • - Embody ClickUp core value of the best customer experience, period by answering compensation and commissions-related questions.
  • - Perform ad-hoc reporting, analyses, and provide strategic insights.
Qualifications:
  • - 2+ years of professional experience in SaaS with a deep understanding of sales, customer success, or professional services compensation and best practices is required (with sales compensation as a focus).
  • - Bachelor's Degree in a business or STEM-related degree (e.g. business, economics, finance, engineering, mathematics, or data science) or very strong analytical career experience.
  • - Excellent communication skills: ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including senior leadership and cross-functional teams, and simplify complex concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • - Strong organization skills with an acute ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • - Keen desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment, a high level of comfort with ambiguity, and a proactive affinity for breaking down complex problems and constructing meaningful solutions.
  • - Identifies with and embodies ClickUp’s core values.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • - Experience with the task management space in revenue operations or finance role.
  • - Experience working with Salesforce to drive revenue compensation initiatives.
  • - Experience implementing sales compensation software is a plus.
