The agent scans your data warehouse, databases, and data lake storage for patterns matching PII categories: names, email addresses, phone numbers, social security numbers, credit card numbers, dates of birth, physical addresses, IP addresses, and government identifiers. It uses pattern matching, contextual analysis (a 9 digit number in a "tax_id" column is more likely an SSN than a zip code), and configurable custom patterns for your industry. For each detected instance, it classifies sensitivity level and applies the remediation rule you define: masking, hashing, tokenization, redaction, or flagging for manual review. Findings generate a ClickUp compliance report.
