We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer who focuses on mobile testing to develop our vision around quality and build strategy. At ClickUp, the team, process, and tools we use are critical to our success In this role, you will execute manual platform testing, enhance quality assurance practices, and report findings to the entire team. Improvisation and flexibility are essential in this role. We operate differently than most companies, and routine QA processes won't always work - bring your bag of tricks!

You should enjoy continuously exploring and challenging the platform as it grows. We release new builds at a rapid rate, so time management and self-prioritization are a must.

More specifically, the role includes creating test strategies, evaluating sprints for risks, creating and executing tests, preventing regression possibilities, and identifying and investigating bugs. You should be able to do this in about one-third the time most competent people think possible.

The Role
  • - Test new features and bugs for ClickUp's Web and Desktop applications along with various 3rd party integrations and add-ons.
  • - Assist in triaging client issues.
  • - Testing builds on shipping days.
  • - Design and implement manual testing plans and tools to ensure quality.
  • - Maintain robust functional test approaches for new and existing features.
  • - Identify, document, triage, and validate bugs and bug reports.
  • - Connect with clients to request information and to follow up with updates on a bug's status.
  • - Heavy manual testing experience with web applications (1+ years of exp.).
  • - Responsible, team-oriented, proactive with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • - Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • - Experience testing applications that were built on Angular is a huge plus.
  • - Strong API testing abilities.
  • - Highly skilled with using DevTools for web debugging.
  • - Extremely comfort with working in a fast-paced Agile/SCRUM environment.
  • - General knowledge of common Networking and Security problems.
  • - Preferred experience working with a Project Management tool (ex: ClickUp, Monday, Wrike, Jira, Asana, etc.).
  • - Ability to work out of our San Diego office is a plus.
