Why did you join ClickUp?

I enjoy working on technology that I can use in my own work. Productivity is very important to me and I’ve been able to uncover a lot of pain points over the course of my career. I really like ClickUp’s product because it helps to solve a lot of the challenges I’ve experienced personally in my career.

Furthermore, I really like working at a company where I know I can make an impact. ClickUp is the type of place where I know my contributions will help to move us forward.

What do you do at ClickUp?

My role at ClickUp is to manage the infrastructure of the entire company. I help to build the foundational platform that other teams run their services on top of.

Tell us what a typical day looks like for you.

There are a few different key aspects of my day. Most importantly, I work closely with my team to align on our vision, whether that’s long, mid, or short-term goals. I make sure that we’re marching toward our goals and unblock any blockers that are preventing us from meeting them.

I also spend a lot of time with my clients, which are internal engineering teams. A lot of our meetings are used to discuss incidents and observations on things that need to be changed.

Finally, I work closely with leadership to ensure that we are mapping back to their vision.

How would you describe the culture at ClickUp? What makes it different from other jobs you’ve had?

The culture at ClickUp is fast-paced! We’re focused on execution and working with agility to achieve our long-term vision.

What do you like best about your job?

I love that we’re not just working on one product, we’re building a platform. I know that the work we’re doing can have a massive impact on productivity.

What qualities do you think a successful ClickUp employee embodies?

I think the most successful ClickUp employees pay close attention to what they contribute to the organization and are measuring their success.
