We understand the value of well produced video content and have started to build an internal creative agency to execute various content initiatives. ClickUp’s internal agency will be responsible for creating an array of original marketing concepts that will live as series’ across social, OTT, and broadcast platforms. We'll even have our own production studio space in the heart of Downtown San Diego in order to properly scale our productions and increase our output.

We are looking for a highly skilled video editor to craft premium advertisements and narrative content. Additionally, this role will be responsible for contributing to the foundational operating standards being set in a newly developed department. You will report to the Post Production Supervisor and collaborate with various members of the Marketing department.
Responsibilities:
  • - Assemble footage to craft a finished product.
  • - Bring creative edit solutions to cross-functional collaborators.
  • - Execute multiple performance-based and editorial video projects.
  • - Ensure projects are meeting asset management standards and practices.
  • - Attend team and company-wide meetings.
  • - Create proxies from raw materials.
  • - Build project NLE templates.
  • - Search and select suitable music cues for edits.
  • - Occasionally sync audio and prepare projects for the edit.
  • - Conform locked edits for color and sound finishing.
  • - Attend shoots to take notes and provide insights on ideas that could affect the Post Process.
  • - Review scripts and shot lists to create your edits.
  • - Discover new edit technologies and propose them for future projects.
  • - Work with AEs to ensure edit preps are up to standard.
  • - Onboard freelance editors to ensure ClickUp’s style and voice are met.
Qualifications:
  • - 6+ years of previous experience as a professional editor.
  • - Proven experience as commercial editor. A plus to have story-driven experience as well.
  • - Premiere Pro Expert User.
  • - Experience editing content for social, web, and broadcast.
  • - Must have a strong reel.
  • - Familiar with motion graphics and VFX workflows.
  • - Degree in film, broadcast, or media production.
  • - Creative problem solver and multitasker.
  • - Must be a team player.
  • - The ability to translate creative ideas into the timeline.
  • - Thorough understanding of comedic timing.
  • - Thorough understanding of music timing within the edit.
  • - Ability to turn around multiple projects on a tight schedule.
