Important Features
  • Custom Fields: Create unique task columns to manage a budget, contact info, or really anything you can imagine! Watch the short video in this doc and then practice creating a new field within the Folder template you've added.
  • Templates: You can create your own templates from Spaces, Folders, Lists tasks and checklists so you can reuse their structure any time!
  • Tasks: This is where you'll be spending the majority of your time in ClickUp, so it's important to understand the ins and outs of what you can do with tasks!
  • Statuses: Create workflows or stages that your tasks go through (ex: "to do", "in progress", "complete")
  • Me Mode & People Sidebar: See who else is involved or zoom in on the tasks that are assigned to you.
  • Sorting and Filtering: View the most important tasks at the top of your view, or cut out the clutter and filter out the tasks you need.
  • Favorites: "Bookmark" your most important views so you can quickly jump back to them any time!
  • Inbox: Inbox is your centralized place to work. It's your mission control center for your work in the past, now, and in the future. You can even delegate reminders to others directly from your Inbox!
  • Profiles: These allow you to see what people are working on now, next, and what they've recently completed or have yet to schedule.
