IT Specialist

We're looking for an IT Specialist responsible for the configuration and operation of our laptops, office IT, software and systems. You will prioritize, resolve, route and schedule all incoming internal technology support requests and issues.

You will work with each department to deploy, manage, and maintain our corporate governance program that guides business best practices.

You'll be a strategic partner working directly with the COO, IT Manager, and all of ClickUp's employees!
The Role:
  • - Support and administrate our cloud-native, SaaS business.
  • - Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
  • - IT or desktop support, office IT, and cloud system administration.
  • - Supporting various services, including G Suite for Enterprise and Rippling.
  • - Troubleshooting a variety of technical issues across macOS, and various applications, and hardware (including laptops and peripheral technology).
  • - Video Conferencing troubleshooting, including Zoom and conference room technologies.
  • - Provide technical guidance on applications and security practices.
  • - Procurement and device management of MacBooks.
  • - Mobile device deployment and support (iPhone and Android devices).
  • - Excitement to grow 1% every day and eagerness to advance skillset to objectively support ClickUp's IT systems.
  • - Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
  • - Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
  • - Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment.
Qualifications:
  • - Past experience in information systems or computer administration.
  • - Technical understanding of IT processes - including applications, network systems, and operating systems, change control, asset management, etc.
  • - Good problem-solving skills with the ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it.
  • - Ability to train end-users on frequently asked technical issues and create trainings to assist with FAQs.
Desirable:
  • - Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science.
  • - Previous customer service experience.
  • - CompTIA A+ certification.
