How to Use This in PowerPoint
Open the .pptx file in PowerPoint
Download the template and open it in PowerPoint or Google Slides. Save As with your analysis naming convention.
Set the context on the title slide
Enter the analysis subject, date, and facilitator name. Define the scope of the SWOT in the subtitle line.
Facilitate the workshop with the matrix projected
Display the 2×2 matrix slide as a visual anchor. Collect factors via sticky notes or a whiteboard. Do not type live into the slides.
Populate the deep-dive slides post-workshop
Transfer the curated, specific factors from the brainstorm into the individual quadrant slides. Use the speaker notes prompts to push vague factors toward specificity.
Build the action summary
On the final slide, list the three highest-priority factors with assigned owners, deadlines, and next actions.
Watch Out For
- Do not type into the projected slides during a live workshop. It creates a bottleneck and slows the conversation. Use a separate brainstorming surface and populate the deck afterward.
- The matrix slide works best with 4 to 6 factors per quadrant. More than that makes the text too small for projection. Use the deep-dive slides for additional detail.
- Speaker notes are visible only in Presenter View (not in Google Slides' present mode). Verify your setup supports Presenter View before the workshop.
