This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to gain hands-on experience at a hypergrowth startup! Success as an intern will require personal accountability, a sense of curiosity and optimism, the ability to adapt to quickly changing circumstances, and effectively driving yourself to meet and exceed 1% growth in skills and understanding every single day. Interest in technology and business management is desirable as you will work on the front lines with delivering tangible results for the business alongside our best in the world customer support team.

As a Operations Intern, you will spend the majority of your time alongside customers to understand goals, processes, and requirements so that you may guide them as an informed representative of the ClickUp platform. You’ll help customers unlock their potential and raise the standards when it comes to productivity. You'll also have opportunities along the way to gain valuable hands-on experience in business operations, HR, and recruiting.
The Role:
  • - Remote paid internship with 20 to 30 hours of work per week.
  • - Attend weekly workshops to gain knowledge of the workings of the company in all departments.
  • - Participate in a showcase with all ClickUp interns, showing off what you’ve learned and accomplished throughout the summer.
  • - No two days are exactly the same as a Operations Intern. You'll focus primarily in customer support, but you’ll also lend a hand with other critical miscellaneous tasks as needed!
  • - You will work on the front lines alongside our customer support team. You'll also gain hands-on business operations experience in the following potential areas:
    • Nurturing relationships with amazing clients to ensure they’re finding as much value in our platform as possible.
    • Understanding and prioritizing resolution on escalated customer issues.
    • Working alongside customers to provide detailed customer service to not only experience the best customer service in the industry, but also to provide the best customer service experience our customers have ever had.
    • Articulating insights from our customers to our product, development, and marketing teams to help shape ClickUp into an industry leader.
    • Identifying upsell or repeat business opportunities and helping clients with financial inquiries.
    • Assist in optimizing team processes and support documentation.
    • Work alongside our recruiting team communicating with candidates, auditing job boards, reviewing candidate mini-projects, and with ad-hoc projects.
  • - Work alongside our operations manager to learn the ins and out of our business. Assist her initiatives on the talent, education, data, and office management task forces.
Qualifications:
  • - You can work in a fast-paced start-up environment with a hands-on approach.
  • - You can prioritize work, follow through on requests, take initiative, work both independently and collaboratively, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • - You have superpowers in communicating with positivity and precision via the written word with a high typing speed.
  • - Inquisitive and curious interest in tech and the SaaS landscape.
  • - Currently pursuing a degree or certification graduating in 2021.
  • - A strong interest in a career in business operations. It would be a plus if you are majoring in Analytics, Econ, Business (with an interest in operations), or Business Management.


This is a paid internship with the intent to offer full-time employment and to qualified interns at the completion of the program. It is our goal for all our summer interns to have the opportunity to have a long-term career at ClickUp. For interns still in school, we would love to extend the internship throughout the school year! We understand that school is your top priority and we have designed our internship with some scheduling flexibility to best accommodate class schedules during the semester.
