Normal work for us includes social media campaigns, photo- and video shoots, and of course, web design and consultancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"1-and-what-clickup-features-do-you-find-most-valuable-in-your-work-\"><strong>And what ClickUp features do you find most valuable in your work?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s not exactly a feature, but I love the flexibility of creating our own<a href=\"https:\/\/clickup.com\/spaces\"> Spaces<\/a>. What I mean by that is, the<a href=\"https:\/\/clickup.com\/hierarchy-guide\"> ClickUp Hierarchy<\/a> is so versatile. I don&#8217;t think you realize at first how much flexibility you have to create your own structure in ClickUp. This does a great job of making sure my co-workers get their tasks assigned without anyone having to micromanage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And more generally, just the way tasks and views are set up to facilitate project management is really amazing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, when a new web design project comes in, we divide this up in phases and create<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.clickup.com\/en\/articles\/1239470-how-to-use-subtasks\"> subtasks<\/a> to track these phases: concept, design, installation, content, optimization, and live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exact subtasks depend a bit on the project, and that\u2019s the good thing about ClickUp! You are free to use it however you want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also give every customer a color. That way, when we set a due date for a subtask, a quick overview in the<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.clickup.com\/en\/articles\/1595475-calendar-view\"> Calendar view<\/a> shows us which customer we&#8217;re supposed to be working on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, ClickUp added<a href=\"https:\/\/help.clickup.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/6304545702423-Remap-Subtask-Due-Dates\"> subtask remapping<\/a>, so when I change the due date of the main task or project, all subtask due dates move along with it. This is perfect for our workflow since we work a lot with subtasks and phases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1400\" height=\"764\" src=\"https:\/\/clickup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/image1-1400x764.gif\" alt=\"remap subtasks in clickup\" class=\"wp-image-19985\" srcset=\"https:\/\/clickup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/image1-1400x764.gif 1400w, https:\/\/clickup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/image1-300x164.gif 300w, https:\/\/clickup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/image1-768x419.gif 768w, https:\/\/clickup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/image1-700x382.gif 700w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1400px) 100vw, 1400px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>So subtasks are huge for us, and they pair really well with<a href=\"https:\/\/clickup.com\/features\/kanban-board\"> Board view<\/a>. That is, it&#8217;s very simple to drag and drop the subtasks between statuses to keep track of projects. This lets me and my team focus on the tasks we need to be working on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In some cases, we use<a href=\"https:\/\/clickup.com\/features\/task-tags\"> tags<\/a> as well. This can be helpful if you want to highlight or search for something. For example, we use it for third-party suppliers so we can quickly identify the supplier based on the tag, and we can easily filter by supplier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"2-what-tools-if-any-do-you-integrate-with-clickup-\"><strong>What tools, if any, do you integrate with ClickUp?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We use<a href=\"https:\/\/clickup.com\/integrations\/cloud-storage-google-drive\"> Google Drive<\/a> to store all our social media images, so having that integrated with ClickUp is super useful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And being able to<a href=\"https:\/\/clickup.com\/integrations\/google-calendar-task-sync\"> sync my Google Calendar<\/a> with ClickUp is also very useful. It&#8217;s great to be able to pull my meetings into ClickUp. I can see projects alongside meetings, making it much easier to determine where a project is before talking to a client about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"3-how-do-you-use-clickup-to-push-your-projects-forward-\"><strong>How do you use ClickUp to push your projects forward?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As I mentioned before, customizable Spaces are a huge game-changer. Creating our own Spaces saves us time and money because it means we&#8217;re not forced to build our workflows to fit a platform&#8217;s limitations. Before using ClickUp, I was spending so much time on busy work and paperwork, but now I have a lot more time and resources to think strategically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also have a lot more time to play golf, so no complaints from me. \ud83d\ude02<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"5-how-has-clickup-improved-your-work-and-life-\"><strong>How has ClickUp improved your work and life?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I have used Clickup every day now for the last year and a half or so, and I don&#8217;t want to work without it now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The way Clickup rolls out frequent updates and informs users via email works really well for me. It tells me that they are continuously keeping their software up to date and evolving based on the needs of their customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"6-what-advice-do-you-have-for-others-looking-to-streamline-their-productivity-\"><strong>What advice do you have for others looking to streamline their productivity?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Because of ClickUp&#8217;s flexibility, there are almost always several ways to reach your goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So if you work with a team, ask for their opinions on what they think is the best way to create Spaces and workflows for your company. Doing this will make sure everybody is on the same page and has bought into and understands the processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But my biggest advice is to just give ClickUp a try.
